The second day Kaitlin was here I took her to watch some of the high school boys play baseball. It was great fun untill I got hit in the head with a foul ball! Oh well it made a memory that is for sure! (notice the ice pack - it is a bag of frozen peas!)

Another year has begun and I am now no longer a first year teacher but a "wise and knowledgeable " teacher! (ha, ha, ha). I am excited about the commign year but I really don't feel any more prepared than I did last year!

My Kindergarten class ! (I actually have 10 students but two were absent)
The other day, while at the Green Bazaar I happened upon a lady selling seedless green grapes. In order to understand this story you need to know that I really like seedless green grapes and that it has been over a year since I have had any (we have the kind with the seeds). Well I got so animated and excited that the fruit man next to my fruit lady started laughing at me. Normally, this would make me upset but not this day because I was getting seedless green grapes! I bought a whole kilo (2.2 pounds)! I have greatly enjoyed my green grapes and to make things even better last night I got a Dr. Pepper too! Can life be any better than this?!
